Winner of the 2015 NZ Mural Contest and Arts Festival was Shane Walker from Waihi Beach, with his interpretation of the theme Nga Taonga O Aotearoa – the natural treasures of NZ.

Song Competition
We are looking for entries into the “song” category of the 2017 Katikati Arts Festival. Entries will convey the story behind one of Katikati’s many murals or sculptures.

Sculpture Competition
Be part of the NZ Mural Contest & Arts Festival, by entering the Katikati Bird-Walk Sculpture Contest. There are two great categories this year, an “open” category and one based on the theme of the festival – “The Future is Our Children”.

Photography Competition
Open to amateur photographers and students only. The festival theme for 2017 is ‘The Future is Our Children’ and contestants can interpret that in any way they choose.

Mural Competition
The theme for 2017’s mural competition is ‘The Future is Our Children’. Submit your interpretation of the festival theme and be invited to complete your mural in public locations during the festival.
